Joseph Sherfey, a long time invalid, died at his home in Hanley Thursday, and John Young, of near St Marys, died Saturday. Both were aged gentlemen, old citizens, worthy men, well respected and will be missed.

Their remains were laid to rest in the fast filling cemetery at this place.

His entirely helpless wife survives him. This unfortunate couple have been in a very distressing condition for a long time and but for the kind assistance of their neighbors could not have existed. The old lady is a permanent paralytic and is now being kindly cared for at the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Jolly of this city.
