Patience Freestone Lang, wife of W. D. Lang died very suddenly at her home in the north east part of the city on Monday. Mrs. Lang had been in poor health for several years, but was not considered dangerously ill until a few hours before her death.

The funeral services were held from the home on Wednesday afternoon conducted by Rev. Fred Berry. Deceased leaves a husband, mother and one sister.

Obituary

Minerva Jane Patience McConkey, was born February 6, 1859, and died at her home in the northeast part of the city, October 2, 1905, at the age of 46 years. She had lived in Madison county all her life. She was married to W. D. Lang on October 26, 1904. She was a faithful member of the Baptist church. She leaves behind to mourn her loss a husband, mother and sister.

Mrs. Lang had been a sufferer from that dread disease consumption, for some months and died very suddenly on last Monday. The funeral occurred Wednesday at 1 p.m., from the home and she was laid to her last rest in the Baptist cemetery just north of town. The bereaved husband and relatives have the sympathy of the entire community.
