Mrs. Dorothea Hohn for many years a resident of Winterset died Nov. 27th, at the home of her son in Ponca, Okla.

The remains were brought here for burial and the funeral held from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edgar on Saturday afternoon conducted by Rev. E. F. Bennett. The deceased was born in Germany in 1828 and came to this country in 1848.

DORTHEA HOHN

Dorthea Henne was born February 5, 1828, in Germany, town of Zwarenburg, state of Whittenberg, county of Kalp. She came to America in 1848, was married to John B. Hohn June 29, 1853. To this union was born five children, Emma Caroline, Carl Fredrick, John Ludwing, Martha and Lillie Valentine, two of whom died in infancy.

The deceased was at the home of her son in Ponca, Oklahoma, where she died November 27, 1906. the funeral services were held from the home of her daughter in this city on Saturday afternoon conducted by Rev. E. E. Bennett of the Christian church.
