Minnie Lee Storck, daughter of Curtis and Grace Secrest, was born in Wayne County, Mt. Erie, Illinois November 2, 1904, and after a lingering illness passed away at the University of Missouri Medical Clinic at Columbia, Missouri at the age of 56 years, 9 months and 18 days.
She was baptized as a small child at Presbyterian Old Brown Church in Illinois and remained a member of the church.
On February 7, 1946 she was joined in wedlock to Neil Storck.
During married life she spent several years in Tucson, Arizona, French Morocco, Africa and last years at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri.
Survivors are husband Neil Storck, four sisters, Eva Marston, Joliet, Ill., Leona Sprytzer of Farmington, Michigan, Geraldine Glenn of Waterville, Iowa and Mary of Whiteman, Missouri; brothers Everett of Macksburg, Russell of Potterville, Michigan, Leslie of Stuart; also many nieces and nephews and other close relatives.
Preceding her in death were her parents and infant sister Lula.
Services for Mrs. Stock were held at the Earlham Presbyterian church Thursday, August 24, 1961 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. George Thurman in charge. Mrs. Fred Fry provided organ music and Emma Compton, Norma Moreland and Fonda Jackson were in charge of the flowers.
Casket bearers were Marvin Secrest, Leland Shaw, Leland Secrest, Gary Allcott, Harry Stevens and Wayne Allcott.
Interment was in the Earlham cemetery.
