Elmer L. Scar Died in California

Funeral services for Elmer L. Scar, 83, of 9152 Hoxey Avenue, Westchester, California, were held Monday, November 28, in the Colonial Chapel in Inglewood with the Rev. William Dierker, pastor of Good Shepherd Lutheran church officiating.

Mr. Scar was born in Dexter and spent most of his life in Iowa before going to Westchester some 13 years ago. He was a registered druggist in Earlham for more than 43 years. Mr. Scar is a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran church of Inglewood. He passed away at his home Thursday following a lingering illness.

Surviving him are his wife Josephine, a daughter Mrs. Nadine Stoll, granddaughter Patricia Barnes and grandson Albert Stoll, Jr., all of California; brothers Will, Fred and Chas.; two sisters Mrs. Adolph Jobst and Mrs. Chas. Willrich.

Interment was in Inglewood Park cemetery.
