Last Rites Held for Albert Cassady

Funeral services were held for Joseph Albert Cassady Monday June 27 at 2:00 p.m. at the DeFord Funeral Home at Redfield. Burial was in the Panther Creek cemetery.

Rev. Paul Fotsch was in charge of the services.

Mr. and Mrs. Cassady have operated the Earlham Café during the past year.

Obituary

Joseph Albert Cassady, son of Joseph A. and Mary Cassady, was born October 20, 1900 at Savannah, Missouri. In 1920 Albert came to Adel.

He was united in marriage to Olive Knowles of Adel in 1932.

He passed away at his home in Earlham June 22, 1960 at the age of 59. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Donna Rae.

He is survived by his wife Olive and three children Mary Ratliff, Stuart, Miriam Green, Hollywood, California, and A/2c Arnold Cassady, Elgin Field, Florida; also three brothers, four sisters and eight grandchildren and a host of nephews and nieces and numerous friends.
