MARTHA BERRY Dies At 93 Years

Mrs. Martha Berry, one of Madison county's oldest residents died at her home near Patterson last Wednesday, Jan. 21, 1959, at the age of 93 years.

Mrs. Berry was born in Warren county on April 6, 1865, but lived practically all her life in Madison county. She was the former Martha Kingery, daughter of Reuben and Sarah Harris Kingery.

She was married Oct. 21, 1884, to George Berry. His death occurred in 1919. Since then she had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Alta Miles of Patterson.

She was a member of the Christian church.

In addition to the daughter, Mrs. Miles, she leaves a son, the Rev. Everett Berry of Bellflower, Ill.; eight grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and two half brothers, Ira and Amos Kingery.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Richards Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. John C,. Porath of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial was made in Fellowship cemetery.
