WARREN BEARDSLEY

Warren Beardsley was born near Murray, Clarke county, Iowa, January 2nd, 1877.

Died at the home of his parents in Barney, January 3rd, 1901. Warren Beardsley, was 24 years and 1 day. He had been in very poor health for several months, when suddenly was taken bedfast and lived only a a few days, until the messenger of death came and called him away to his everlasting home. All medical aid was summoned that was necessary but nothing could be done.

He was a man of a very quiet disposition, kind and agreeable to all, the third son of Mr. And Mrs. Richard Beardsley. Father, mother, two sisters and three brothers survive him, all were present but one brother who is now in Colorado.

The funeral services were conducted at the house on Saturday, January 5th, by Rev. C. W. Hoover, and the remains were laid to their last resting place in the Barney cemetery, followed by many friends who join in sympathy with the heart broken family.

Obituary

Warren A. Beardsley, third son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Beardsley, died at his home in Barney, January 3rd, after an illness of six months, aged 24 years and 1 day. Funeral services conducted Saturday at 11 o’clock by Rev. Chas. Hoover, and the remains were laid to rest in the Barney cemetery. The pall bearers were Elmer Leasman, Fred Gibbons, Elmer and Will Ergenbright and Chas. Simpson. A beautiful floral tribute was presented by his gentlemen friends. He leaves a father, mother, three brothers and two sisters all of which were present but one brother, he being in Colorado, and unable to arrive in time for the funeral, and a host of friends to mourn his loss.
