We also note the death of Mrs. Edward Shutt, which occurred at her home four miles east of this city Saturday. The funeral was held at Union Chapel Sunday, where the remains were laid to rest. Her husband and seven children survive her. Mr. Shutt is a veteran of the late war.

THE CITY AND COUNTY

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Shutt, of Scott township, a son, Saturday morning. Mrs. Shutt died of heart failure at 11 o’clock Saturday forenoon. The funeral was held at the residence on Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Shutt was a daughter of J. W. Fisher.
