F. R. Williams, son of Rev. W. W. Williams, formerly pastor of the M. E. church at this place, but now at Carlisle, died at his father’s home, and his remains were brought here and laid beside those of his mother in our cemetery on last Sunday. The young man was a bright student of Simpson College, and was striving to fit himself for the ministry, and preparing to follow in the footsteps of his worthy father. A very large and sympathetic number of people were present at the interment.

Note: Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
