Tuesday, October 13, 1896Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Angevine have met with the severest affliction that can befall loving parents, in the death of their little daughter, Mabel, aged about seven years, from that dread disease, diphtheria. The little girl was reported somewhat better last night, but took a turn for the worse and died at an early hour this morning. We understand that the burial was to take place this (Tuesday) afternoon, without any public exercises, owing to the contagious nature of the disease. Heartfelt sympathy is expressed for Mr. and Mrs. Angevine.

Page 8Sad Death.—Little Mable, the seven year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Angevine, died with diphtheria Tuesday morning. Mable was a bright, promising little girl, and the stroke is a sad affliction to the family. Their host of friends sympathize with them in this dark hour.
