January 9, 1902The remains of Mrs. Nichol, lately Lena Clements, who with her parents resided for a number of years in St. Charles prior to 1901 in St. Charles, was taken over the K. & W. on last Thursday to Newton, Iowa, where she was buried by the side of friends who had gone before.
Her husband, Mr. Robert Nichol, who has until his marriage a few months ago, resided in Truro. Her parents and two sisters and little brother were of the bereaved who accompanied. These friends now reside in Cainsville, Mo. where her death occurred.
The family returned to their homes on Saturday. Mrs. W H. Bean one of the sisters stopping in St. Charles, for few days visit with her husband’s parents and other friends. St Charles people sincerely sympathize with the sorrowing ones.
