Page 3, Columns 1 & 2Mrs. John Fitzpatrick died very suddenly last Wednesday night at her home in this city. She had been at work during the forenoon, and after dinner, as was her custom, laid down to take a nap. Noticing that she slept longer than normal, two or three members of the family went up at different times to rouse her but were unable to do so. Finally the doctor was called and he give as his opinion that if she did not rouse very soon she would never do so. As if this proved to be correct, she died about ten o’clock. Death was caused by apoplexy.
Mrs. Fitzpatrick was a worthy and estimable Christian woman, respected by all who knew here. Besides her husband, who is advanced in years and in very feeble health, she leaves four grown up sons and daughters.
