Died, Miss Mabel Parmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Well Parmer, April 14, of brain fever. What a mournful history these few words have! What a pang of sorrow sweeps over the hearts at the memory of the bereaved father and mother, where jewel above price has been laid beneath the daisies! With crushed hearts they have lain their loved one away, until the bright morning of eternity. Her bright and smiling face and gentle loving ways, were the life of all who knew her. Although young in years she was a devoted Christian, and who shall speak of the brightness on which the eyes of their darling have opened. Mr. and Mrs. Parmer have the sympathy of the entire community.

Note: Burial was made in the Barney cemetery. Last name is Palmer.
