LEANNA CLEAR Dies at 91

A resident of Madison Manor South and a native of Madison County, Leanna Clear, 91, died Sunday, May 9, 1976, at Manor South in Winterset. She was born August 30, 1884, the daughter of Henry Webb and Nancy Houston Webb.

Spending most of her life in Madison County, Mrs. Clear was married to Benjamin Clear on September 5, 1898. He preceded her in death November 5, 1938.

A housewife, Mrs. Clear was affiliated with the Christian Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Carrie Kitzerow of Truman, Minn.; two sons, Earl Clear of Everett, Wash. and Claude Clear of Winterset; nine grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.

Mrs. Clear was preceded in death by her husband, parents and three children, Guy, Mable and Henry.

Funeral services for Leanna Clear were conducted Tuesday, May 11, at 1:30 p.m. from Collins Funeral Home, the Rev. Eldon Jandebeur presiding. Burial was made at the Winterset Cemetery.
