Mr. Jerome Taylor, of Webster township, died very suddenly Wednesday morning. So swift was the summons of the dread messenger that it is said Mr. Taylor was out in the field Tuesday planting corn, yet died Wednesday morning.

The funeral was held Thursday, the burial being in the Wight cemetery. We have heard no further particulars.
