Mrs. Merrill, one of the inmates of the poor house, died last Tuesday night, after four months terrible suffering from cancer. She came from Barney, and had lived at the farm since the first of the year. She was about forty years of age.

Died, February 25, at the poor farm, Mrs. Morrill. Rev. C. Hoover conducted the funeral services in Barney Thursday, and she was laid to rest in the Barney cemetery. She leaves several children. Albert Gibbons will keep the little girl; she is seven years old.

The funeral services of Mrs. Frank Merrill, who died at the poor farm last Tuesday, were held here Thursday by Rev. Chas. Hoover, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Barney cemetery. She leaves a husband and five children to mourn her loss.
