PRENTICE MARION TRAUTWEIN

Prentice Marion Trautwein was born Sept. 9, 1896, near Macksburg, Iowa, and died at the home of his mother in that city December 24, 1915. He was 19 years, 3 months and 15 days of age at the time of his death. His sickness was of but a few days duration, but was serious from the beginning.

He leaves to mourn the loss, one sister, Mrs. Guy Wallace of Macksburg; one brother, Ed Trautwein of Montana; and his mother, Mrs. John Waltman, also of Macksburg; and a host of friends and relatives.

He was converted at the Parvin meetings a little over a year ago and remained true to the experience there obtained.

The funeral services were conducted from the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and were largely attended. The sermon was preached by Rev. Fred Whitney, pastor of the church. Interment was at the Macksburg cemetery.
