Miss Laura Norris, a daughter of Perry Norris, of Webster township, died Tuesday night, December 31st, of consumption.

Our New Year was saddened by the announcement of the death of Laura Norris, at 2 o’clock of January 1st. As she had supplied the place of her mother for several years, she will be missed very much by her father and brother. They have the sincere sympathy of the whole community. The funeral services were held at the Congregational church January 2d. The house was crowded, but many were prevented from going to the cemetery by the cold and inclement weather. The pall bearers were six young ladies.

Note: Burial was made in the Wight cemetery. Also, there are two short death notices for Laura, one says she died Dec. 31, 1895, the other, Jan. 1, 1896.
