May 9, 1973Newborn Infant Dies
Michael Stephen Brewington, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert S Brewington of Winterset, died Saturday, May 5, at Blank Children’s Hospital in Des Moines. The infant had been born earlier that day at Memorial Hospital in Winterset.
He is survived by his parents, Robert and Barbara Connett Brewington; his grandparents, Robert Brewington and Mrs. Joanne Brewington of Des Moines, and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Connett of Boring, Ore.; and great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Forest Houseman of Winterset and the maternal great grandparents in Oregon.
The child was buried Monday in the Winterset cemetery, with graveside services conducted by the Rev. Newton Coughenour, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Winterset.
