Don E. Bucher, 72, former teacher and resident of Winterset, passed away April 8, 2008, in Apache Junction, Ariz. He is survived by his wife, Frieda; sons Lary of Sacramento, Calif., and Gary (Dianna) of Huxley, Iowa; daughter Melody (Brad) Murphy of Norwalk, Iowa; and grandchildren Michael Huffman, Shelby Murphy and Nash Bucher. Don touched many lives. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, teacher, coach and friend. Private services were held April 12, 2008.
