Hoyt, the older son of Nep Gilpin, died at an early hour yesterday morning, after a few days illness with quinsy. Hoyt was a bright, intelligent boy, about ten years of age, and he will be sadly missed by all who know him. The funeral was held at two o’clock this afternoon, at the home, on east Jefferson street.

Chips and Whetstones

Hoyt, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Nep Gilpin, died last Monday of sore throat. He was a bright little boy eleven years old.

Note: Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
