Georgia Branchcomb died April 7, 2008 at the Madison County Hospital in Winterset, Iowa. Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home with burial following at Powers Warren Cemetery. A visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Georgia was born August 9, 1927 to Amos and Odessa Boatwright in Adelphi, Iowa. She married Joseph Andrew Branchcomb in 1945 and together they raised five children. She enjoyed traveling and was a very active member of Murray Baptist Church.
Georgia is survived by four sons, Joe (Tina) Branchcomb, John (Virginia) Branchcomb Dan (Marilyn) Branchcomb, Dave Branchcomb; daughter Arlene (Alan) Libby; three sisters and one brother, 22 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and seven great- great- grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Joseph Sr.
