BUTLER KELLOGG Dead

Butler Kellogg, whose serious illness was noted in these columns recently passed away Monday morning at the advanced age of eighty eight years.

The family came here from Logan several years ago.

Mr. Kellogg is survived by the aged wife, who is in serious condition and a daughter at home, two sons living at Logan, one at Omaha and another in Texas.

Funeral services were held at the home at ten o'clock this morning, conducted by Rev. B. B. Burton of the Church of Christ and interment made in the Rock City cemetery.

Butler Kellogg

Butler Kellogg was born September 11, 1828 at Bentonville, Fayette county, Indiana, and died at his home in Winterset, Iowa, April 17, 1916.

To this union 5 children were born, Elmer E. Kellogg, of Omaha; Edgar B. of Logan, Iowa, Ulyssis S. of Chesterville, Texas, and Ida at home. One died in infancy.

Funeral services were held at the home on April 19th, conducted by Rev. Burton. Interment in the Winterset cemetery.
