A boy about three years old, a son of John Lloyd, of Monroe township, died Wednesday evening.

Barney and Vicinity

Wednesday evening the people of this community were called upon to lament the loss of little Edgar, aged three years, the only son of John Loyd and wife, who died after an illness of only five days. A large number of relatives and friends assembled Friday morning and listened to a beautiful funeral sermon by Rev. Hoover, after which a large concourse followed the remains to the beautiful cemetery, where they were laid at rest. The bereaved parents have the heart-felt sympathy of a host of kind and loving friends.

Note: Burial was made in the Peru cemetery.
