Death of WAYNE G. SMITH

Wayne G. Smith of Truro, a native of Madison County, died Thursday, April 8, 1976, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. He was 59 years old.

Born March 30, 1917, Mr. Smith was the son of Carl O. Smith and Bessie M. Long Smith. He was married to Loraine Nelson on November 26, 1941, in Bethany, Missouri.

A farmer and member of United Rubber workers in Des Moines, Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Loraine of Truro.

Also surviving are three daughters, Janice Saville, West Des Moines; Jan Smith of Delano, Minnesota; Judy Smith of Truro; two sons, Gary Smith of Indianola, Iowa; Ronnie Smith of Ankeny, Iowa; his mother, Mrs. Bessie Smith of Winterset and five grandchildren.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services for Wayne G. Smith were conducted Monday, April 12, 1976, at 1:30 p.m. from Kale Funeral Home in Truro, Rev. Millard Marshall of Onaga, Kansas, officiating.

Burial was made at the Winterset Cemetery.
