Patterson and East Union

The youngest child of Charlie Crawford and wife died on the night of the 30th ult., and was buried the next day.

Chips and Whetstones

The bright little two year old son of Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Crawford, of Patterson, died the 6th inst., of cholera infantum. He was a bright, promising boy, and it nearly broke the heart of father and mother to part with him. Sympathy is cold, indeed, in such cases, but there is a consolation in it after all. The bereaved in this case had the universal sympathy of the entire community.

Note: Burial was made in the Montpelier cemetery.
