Mr. George Holliwell, an old citizen of this county, who lost his reason and was taken last fall to the hospital for the insane at Clarinda, died there last Friday. Under the circumstances it was impossible to bring the body here for burial, and it was interred at Clarinda.

Mr. George Holliwell, who was taken to the Clarinda insane asylum about one year ago, died in that institution last Friday. Owing to the condition of the diseased, the remains were interred there for the present, but will be removed as soon as possible to the Winterset cemetery.
_____________________Coordinator note: The family name was Halliwell, but was later spelled Holliwell, which also became associated with the covered bridge built on their land, Scott Township, Section 4, in 1880.
