Wednesday, January 4, 1922Death of W. R. HENDERSON
The death of W. R. Henderson on Tuesday afternoon, although not unexpected came as a deep shock to his family and friends. He had not been in good health for two years, hardening of the arteries being the cause of his decline. For the past week he had not been able to walk about the house. Mrs. Henderson had noticed at 2:30 p.m. that he was sleeping quietly. Fifteen minutes later, she returned to the room and discovered that he had passed away as he slept.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 in the United Presbyterian church.
Mr. Henderson's residence in Winterset covered a period of 23 years. During this time, he was actively engaged in business here, and enjoyed the respect and friendship of a large circle of acquaintances. He is survived by Mrs. Henderson, four daughters and two sons.
