Death of MRS. ELIZABETH WINSHIP

Mrs. Elizabeth Winship died at her home in Winterset on Sunday, Dec. 11th, 1921, following years of invalidism. Mrs. Winship had been a sufferer from rheumatism for nineteen years, and a fall which she had last spring, resulting in a broken hip, left her bedfast for the greater part of the time until her death.

Mrs. Winship is survived by her sons, Charles and Henry; and one daughter, Nettie E. Winship, county recorder of Madison county. The family came from Wisconsin to Saint Charles, their home for several years.

For twelve years, Winterset has been the residence of the Winships, and after the death of Mr. Winship, the mother and daughter have lived together. The tender and loving care bestowed by the daughter upon the invalid mother, has been a matter of general knowledge and commendation.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Presbyterian church, conducted by Rev. LeRoy C. Cooley. Burial took place in the Winterset cemetery
