Mrs. Howard Debord of Des Moines, who underwent a serious operation during the past week, died Saturday. Funeral services were held at the M.E. church Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.
Interment at Montpelier cemetery.

Mrs. Florence Jackson Debord died in the Methodist hospital, Des Moines on Oct. 1st. She was a daughter of Andrew Jackson and lived near Winterset with her grandparents after her mother's death, thus being well known in this vicinity. She leaves two young children, her husband and other relatives.
Funeral services were held in Patterson on Oct. 4th conducted by Rev. Jackson Giddens of Winterset, burial taking place in the Montpelier cemetery.

Florence Jackson was born in Madison county, Jan 29, 1899 and died at the Methodist hospital in Des Moines, Oct. 1, 1921, age 22 years, 8 months and 11 days.
Having been left motherless at the age of four years, she made her home with her grandparents in and near Winterset. July 29, 1916 she was united in marriage to Howard H. Debord. To this union were born two children, Marie and LeRoy. She was a faithful and loving wife and mother and was well liked by all who knew her.
Besides her husband, and children, she leaves her father and stepmother, Andrew Jackson and wife of Des Moines, two brothers: Ivin of Des Moines and Lawrence of Macon, Mo., and one half sister, Irene Jackson of Des Moines; and a large number of other near relatives and a host of friends.
During her life in Winterset, she was a faithful attendant of Sunday school at the M. E. church, finally becoming a member of that church. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 4, from the Methodist church in Patterson conducted by Rev. Giddens of Winterset and the remains were laid to rest in Montpelier cemetery.
