Mr. James Rogers, an old resident of this place was buried last Saturday. He leaves a number of sons and daughter, most of whom reside here. He was about seventy-five years old, and had lived in this county over forty years.

Death of an Old Citizen

James Rogers, an old citizen of this county, died at his residence in the southwest part of town, Friday. He was nearly seventy-six years old and had been suffering from gangrene for nearly two years.

The funeral was held Saturday morning. A large number of friends and relatives attended the funeral. Mr. Rogers had been a resident of this county for thirty-five years.
