Obituary

Elizabeth Norris was born January 13th, 1820, in Campbell county, Kentucky, and died at her home in Madison county, Iowa, August 16th, 1894, at the age of 74 years, 4 months and 2 days.

She moved with her parents from Kentucky in the year 1838 to Delaware county, Indiana. She was united in marriage to Nathan P. Goff, August 16th, 1840, dying on the 54th anniversary of her wedding. To them were born eleven children, all of whom survive her but two. Four of them are present today while the rest were unable to get here. She united with the M. E. church in Indiana at the age of twenty-four years and has ever been a true and devoted Christian.

Note: Burial was made in the Fairview cemetery.
