Page 2County and City - Mrs. Klingman, of Douglas township, who was taken sick over two months ago, passed away in death last Monday morning. The funeral services were held at two o’clock on last Tuesday afternoon, at Worthington church, and were attended by a large number of people from all parts of the county, many from Winterset being present. Mrs. Klingman was a Christian woman, beloved by every one who knew her, and she will be missed in the neighborhood in which she had lived so long.

Page 5Obituary - Elizabeth Sims Klingman was born October 24th, 1827, in Muskingum county, Ohio. She was joined in marriage to John Klingman September 6th, 1846.
They have had born to them four sons and six daughters, of which two sons died in infancy, many years ago. The rest of the children are with them today, except one daughter, Mrs. Laura Harper, who is at her home in Kansas and could not get here in time for the burial of her loved mother.
Mother Klingman was reared in the Methodist Sabbath school and added her name to the church membership when 20 years of age. The family moved from Cambridge, Ohio, in 1867, to Madison county, Iowa, living 27 years together in this home.
