Middle River

Mrs. Mapes died at the home in Webster, Friday evening at 6 o’clock. The funeral occurred from the M. E. church Sunday at 10:30, conducted by Rev. DeTarr after which her body was conveyed to its last resting place in the Roberts cemetery. Mrs. Mapes was a member of the Christian church. She leaves a husband, two daughters and three sons to mourn her loss besides

Mrs. E. S. Mapes, of Webster township, died last Friday at her home near Middle River postoffice. Funeral services were held Sunday forenoon, conducted by Rev. DeTar, of Winterset.

Drake Bridge Neighborhood

There were quite a number at the funeral of Mrs. Mapes who died Friday evening at half past five from cancer on her head.
