A dispatch from DeSoto to last Saturday’s Capital, says: Brack Linneman, living three miles south of DeSoto, died on Wednesday night at 12 o’clock. Deceased was a man of over 80 years of age, a well known member of the German settlement and an extensive land owner. Mr. Linneman has been complaining for some time, but until recently has been able to be about; coming to DeSoto to cast his lot on election day. He has been a hard working, industrious man and has gathered a large amount of property about him. Rev. Conrey conducted the funeral service, the funeral taking place at the Fairview cemetery.
