The infant child of R. Mendenhall died Thursday, October 16th. Funeral services were held at the house Saturday.

The year and a half old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Mendenhall died on last Friday morning after an illness lasting only one day. Pneumonia was the cause of her death. The funeral services were held in the Friends church on Saturday morning, conducted by Rev. Ezra Pearson, of Bear Creek. The little form was laid away in the Earlham cemetery.
