Page 1M. L. BEEM DIES IN NORTH DAKOTA
M. L. Beem, member of a pioneer Madison county family, died Dec. 4 at Kenmore, N. Dak., it was learned here this week. He was 84 years of age.
Mr. Beem was the son of William and Mandy Beem, and was born in Madison county on Aug. 29, 1859. He was married here to Jane Hamner. They were the parents of five children. The wife and four of the children preceded the husband and father in death.
He is survived by one son, Eldon Beem of Kenmore; a brother, Grant Beem of Minneapolis, Minn.; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Ray of Winterset.
