Jacob A. Jones, a resident of Lorimor the last 30 years, died Monday, August 8 at the age of 76 years.
A native of Iowa, Mr. Jones spent most of his life farming in Madison county, moving to Lorimor 30 years ago. He was the son of William and Mary Jane Jones. He was married in 1911 to Gertrude Conn, who preceded him in death.
Surviving are his son, Mervin D. Jones; two grandchildren; a great grandchild; a brother; and a sister.
Funeral services were held August 11 from the Watts-Soll Funeral home in Lorimor with burial in the Primitive Baptist cemetery near Winterset.
