Jan Stone, 79, passed away on Wednesday October 3, 2007 at Kavanagh House on Grand of heart failure. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at McLaren's Chapel with burial at Resthaven Cemetery.

Jan was born in St. Charles, Iowa on April 29, 1928. She was a kind and thoughtful person who loved to laugh, enjoyed visiting with all of her many friends and was devoted to her family. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her sons, Mark (Peggy) Burow and Kim (Marcie) Burow; grandchildren, Justin Burow, Meggan (Ben) Cronin, Courtney Burow, Allison Burow and Brandon Burow; three great-grandchildren; three nephews; a niece and several cousins.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at McLaren's Chapel.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa.
