Wilma Wright, 79, of Winterset died Jan. 16, 2008, at Adel Acres Care Center.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 19, at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel. A private family burial of the cremains will take place at a later date at Fairview Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the staff fund at Adel Acres or Hospice of Central Iowa.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Brashear, and a brother, Howard Thomas.
She is survived by her husband, Russell; one son, David Wright of Perry; one daughter, Mary Harper of Indianola; four sisters, Helen Garbe of Indianola, Beverly Iske of Mingo, Colleen Henderson of Colfax, and Sharon Starmer of Kingsland, Ga.; two brothers, Harold Thomas and Melvin Thomas of Indianola; and six grandchildren.
