DEATH OF DENLY BABY

Weaver Clie Denly, 15 month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Clie Denly of near Barney died early Saturday morning at the Winterset hospital. The child’s death was caused by pneumonia.

Funeral services were held Monday at Union Chapel, with burial being made in the Union cemetery.

Weaver Clie, only child of Clie and Berniece Denly, was born in Madison county September 19, 1932, and passed away at the Winterset hospital at 12:15 a.m. January 13, 1934, at the age of 1 year, 3 months and 24 days.

Those left to mourn his departure are his parents, his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Denly and Mr. and Mrs. Weaver Silverthorn, his great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Gore, besides several uncles and aunts and other relatives.

“Little Buddy” was of a bright cheerful disposition, and the light of his sunny smile will be sadly missed but Jesus said, “Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven.”

Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. H. L. Adams from the Union church, Monday, January 15th, and burial made in Union cemetery.
