Death of Mrs. Ida B. Cornick

Funeral services for Mrs. Ida B. Cornick were held at the Tidrick Funeral home, Thursday morning, July 28th, at 1 o’clock and the body was taken to the Glendale cemetery in Des Moines for burial.

Mrs. Cornick who was the former Miss Ida Boyd, was 72 years of age. She was a daughter of Silas and Nancy Boyd and was born in Howe, Indiana, December 4, 1862. In 1911 she was married to Harback Cornick, and they made their home in Des Moines. She was a member of the Presbyterian church in Des Moines. Three years ago, she came to this county, and has since then resided with her brothers, Fred and Bert Boyd at their home, south of Winterset. She died there, Tuesday, July 23rd. The Rev. R. C. Cully, pastor of the First Presbyterian church conducted her funeral services.

In addition to her two brothers, Mrs. Cornick leaves five nieces and nephews, Loren, Claire and Raymond Boyd and Mrs. Leo Dunn of Winterset, and Mrs. Howard Vernon of Des Moines.
