Wm. Potter, who lived near Van Meter, was found dead at his home, on Tuesday of last week. The Exponent says: Mr. Potter lived alone on his farm of 125 acres, and had spent the winter chopping wood. It appears that he had dressed preparatory to starting to Des Moines, when he was stricken down, it is presumed, with heart failure. Deceased was 52 years old.
