Obituary-Eliza Jennie Spencer

Eliza Jennie Spencer was born in Pennsylvania, on August 12, 1847 and died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Huston, August 2nd at the age of 62 years, 11 months, and 21 days. She was married to W. D. Spencer. To this union was born a son who died in childhood. The husband also died a little over a year ago. Mrs. Spencer with her husband, moved to Iowa in 1870 and went to Pennsylvania in in 1881 and in 1890 they again came west and settled in Nebraska, where the husband died. She united with the M. E. Church when a girl and remained a faithful member until her death. The funeral was from the Huston home August 3rd, conducted by Rev. J. B. Mills and interment was made in the Macksburg cemetery.
