Walter Eyerly, Macksburg

Services for Walter Eyerly, 61, who died June 22 at the Greater Community Hospital at Creston were held Tuesday June 25 at the Macksburg Methodist Church with the Rev. Stanley Ganzel officiating. Burial was at the Moon Cemetery at Macksburg.

Born on Feb. 3, 1924 at Winterset, he was the son of Orris and Maye Cochran Eyerly. He married Eloise Schultz on July 3, 1943 in Marysville, Mo.

Mr. Eyerly lived most of his life in Madison County.

Survivors include his wife; sons, Wayne and wife Debby of Ft. Rucker, Ala., Alan and wife Sheila of Woodward, Okla., and James and wife Debra of Martensdale; two grandchildren; a brother, Clair of Columbia, Ill.; and a sister, Arloene Maye Eyerly of Winterset.

He was preceded in death by a son, his parents and a brother.
