Mrs. Rebecca C. Greer

Died, at her home in Macksburg, November 19, Rebecca C. Greer, wife of John L. Greer, aged 50 years. Mrs. Greer had suffered a long time from cancer, but has been in comparatively good health this fall. She called on a neighbor Thursday morning and returning home prepared dinner for the family, but was taken very sick immediately after noon and died Saturday evening. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church, Sunday afternoon at two o’clock, by Rev. J. E. Beard. Mrs. Greer was a faithful Christian, and leaves a husband and family, and many relatives and friends to mourn her sudden departure. They have the profound sympathy of the community.

Note: Burial was made in the Moon cemetery.
