J.C. Turner, an old and highly respected citizen of Dodge township, died at his home last night after a long illness. We have no particulars about the funeral as we go to press.

The funeral of J.S. Turner, whose death we mentioned last week, was held the following day and remains were buried in the Macksburg cemetery. Mr. Turner was an old and highly respected citizen whose demise is mourned by all. The bereaved relatives will have the consolation of knowing that they have the active sympathy of friends and neighbors in their grief.

Mr. J.D. Turner died at his home near the county line, last Wednesday, the 15th and was buried in the Moon cemetery the day following. Mr. Turner was an old settler of Union county and was well known to most of our people.
