Obituary

Died on the 19th inst., at Clarinda, Iowa, Mr. Thomas Feely of Scott township. Mr. Feely was an old and respected citizen of Madison county, a man of upright character, and an earnest Christian. He was a local preacher in the Methodist church. He has been sadly afflicted for more than three years past. He was at Clarinda for treatment where his son Frank, went to see him, not being aware of his immediate danger, but arrived only about three hours before his death. His remains were brought home on Saturday, and on Sunday afternoon he was interred in the cemetery at Winterset. The many friends sincerely sympathize with the bereaved family.
