She has been the correspondent for The Madisonian office for a number of years sending in the items of "North East Ohio Township" and her friends here did not know of her critical illness.

She remained a widow 8 years and was married to G. A. Foster, August 10th, 1916. Besides her husband she leaves four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Clifton of Peru, Mrs. Lucy S. Minard, Mrs. Mary S. Hagen and Mattie Anderson of Truro and a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives.

In her early life, she learned typesetting in the Iowa Homestead office and followed that occupation for several years, working in newspaper offices over the state.

Mrs. Foster raised no children of her own, but Alton E. Borrall of Indianola, came to her home when he was nine years of age and made his home with her until he was married.

Funeral services were held from the home on Tuesday afternoon, August 9th, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Young of the M. E. church of Truro, and her body was laid to rest by the side of her former husband, Porterfield Scott in the Hartman cemetery near Truro
